Hawaiian Christmas: New Years and The End

For New Years Eve we went to a family friends house on the beach. The waves were insane. I have never seen them that big before. It was pretty awesome. After we ate we headed back to my in-laws house and put the kids to bed then played games until midnight. Kahuku had a new law. NO FIREWORKS this year. That didn't happen. See all the smoke? There was just as much fireworks as usual. Kaulana was in heaven. He's a piro. I'm so surprised the boys didn't wake up the fireworks were soooo loud!

The day we were heading out we went to the fruit stands and got some DELICIOUS fruit. We were so sad not to be able to continue munching on it since we had to leave. My all time favorite, as usual, the fresh coconut. oh i love it!

Kala saying goodbye to his cousins Kawika and Keanu. can you tell he just absolutely adores them?
We had such an awesome trip and felt so blessed to be able to spend time with Kaulana's family over the Christmas season. It was nice just to all be together. Kala asks, almost daily, to go on the airplane again to hawaii. Just not to the beach he tells me. haha.
